LauncherPro v0.8.4.1 released
This is a small bugfix update that fixes two bugs introduced in 0.8.4:
- Fixed force-close when scrolling the app drawer on certain Android 2.1 devices (Droid Eris, Nook Color, etc.)
- Fixed force-close when trying to update Twitter/Friends widget with empty Twitter login credentials.

I love Launcher Pro but I don’t like the color of the menu icons. They don’t match the color of the Froyo Icons, they match the color of the Eclair Icons. In some applications when you hit the menu button, some icons will be the light grey color (launcher pro icons) and some colors with be the darker almost black color (Froyo Icons). Its a picky thing but it does hurt the experience when things don’t match and I hope it can get fixed!

When the launcher pro gmail widget is enabled, I cannot search gmail in the corresponding account with the Thunserbolt’s gmail app.

I’m using your awesome app (latest LauncherPro) with 3 of my Android devices (HTC Magic, Samsung Galaxy S and Viewsonic gTablet). With both phones your launcher works great. I really love it.
But on my ViewSonic gTablet running Vegan tab v1.0.0d5.1.1. (Froyo 2.2) something seems a little off. Specially with the app drawer. If you have the app drawer opened and change the gTablet’s screen orientation, all of the icons get crammed up on a single corner (they don’t rearrange automatically). The only way to fix that is to try to scroll up and down on the screen, then the app icons will rearrange the way they’re supposed to.
Like I said, on top of that drawer display problem, there’s also some screen transition slow downs/problems with my gTablet.
Just wanted to give you a heads up.
Hopefully you’ll be able to fix these hiccups and make your launcher the best one across all Android devices.

I am also having the icon cramming issue on my Incredible. I thought at first that it was just a problem with the ROM I’m using, but since i’ve seen a few other reports of this I now know it’s a bug in the new version of LP. I hope it gets fixed really soon!

Unfortunately I must report that I am getting the same icon issues on my HTC / TMobile G2. The symptoms went away when I switch to landscape view and the screen refreshed.

Launcher basically works great on my Defy, great performance, but: after a reboot the quick-task widgets for my favourite contacts are always messed up. They are 1 column x 3 rows and thus contain picture and two buttons. After rebooting the picture is messed up and the buttons are squeezed side by side (1 column wide and 2 rows high) instead of being 1×1 each. Hope it can be fixed, otherwise the launcher is gorgeous!

Please fix gmail widget. It lists messages correctly but half of them wont open, just blank white screen. Droid X 2.2.1.

Could you please update scrollable widget code to the lastest version? Many scrollable widgets can’t be used on LauncherPro because the code is too old.

Showing memory used in debug mode uses too large a font on a 240×320 res screen so 5th digit disappears off-screen in portrait. Other than that, great app; agree with posters that more screens & docks would be welcome (eg 2 of each at least, perhaps); it IS a canvas replacement.

Motorola Droid. Used to be snappy when home button was pushed. Now it takes 10-60 seconds for icons to appear! Please fix!!

Ive been using this launxher for a while. im using a Droid Eris running Cyanogen Mod 7 in 2.3.3 . the new update constantly closes the launcher wen im doing other things nd the normal app drawer is more laggy than the experimental 3D drwaer. an update to fix this would be much apreciated(if possible) but otherwise the launcher is great(:

This application is excellent, I could hide all then garbage my cell provider put on my phone without having to root it (something I still not managed to do), now have a much better organized start screen, many more customizations options than the default home screen. Not an issue at all, but it could have a better option to organize the home screen shortcuts (that ones that stay fixed on the bottom), once you put one there, it cannot change place: you have to delete it and add again in the place you want; not really bothering, just a suggestion. I missed a Portuguese translation, English is fine of course, but many professional applications like this one are translated in Portuguese, as well other languages.

Seems to be a glitch when opening the dialer for the phone. Doesn’t let you go through contacts by typing their name with the dialing pad. Have to press history then back key to get it to work. Using stock thunderbolt.
