LauncherPro v0.7.0.2/3/4
These three versions (released yesterday) are all bugfix updates. Here’s what changed:
- 0.7.0.2 – Changed verbose for the Unlock LauncherPro Plus option to change any references from “Paypal transaction ID” to “Unlock code”, and provide a link to where to get the unlock code.
- 0.7.0.3 – Fixes a nasty bug with the new highlights color options, where manually entering a color code with spaces or other invalid characters in it caused the app to crash at launch.
- 0.7.0.4 – Fixes another bug introduced by the highlights color options, where opening system folders (Starred, Bluetooth, etc.) caused the app to crash.

One small suggestion regarding LauncherPro Plus:
Why don’t you put a link to PayPal in the right sidebar, so that people can easily see where to buy it?

Everytime I replace the versiin with your latest The ‘plus’-version gets replaced. Should we wait for updates that contain ‘plus’ in the title?

I did the update from the market and still heave the plus version.
Yesterday I had to put my code in after the update today I did not.

About the People widget: it could be nice if we could acess directly to the contact info by selecting it (and a long press show the short access to sms, mail, phone, …))

The people widget seems 2 be making LauncherPro Plus force close multiple times/day (10+) on my Moment. Also, like Adien said, would b nice 2 have a long/short press option, though would rather be able 2 set a default action 4 the short press. Thanks so much 4 ur hard work!

So, I’m confused. I’m a LauncherPro Plus subscriber – do I need to dump what I have and grab this new version of the standard LauncherPro, then unlock it?

Yes. I’ll probably be sending an announcement by email when the next widget (Bookmarks widget) is released, to make sure everyone knows the new way of updating.

I disagree, I don’t want to see their contact card, and I don’t want to have to long hold on a picture to txt them. Fede should allow us to select what we want to happen.
Fede: this is the only app I know that isn’t riddled with horrible bugs to the point where it makes the app useless. You’re the most knowledgable app dev I’ve seen since I got a droid…. marry me fede, marry me… no jk, k peace.

I paid for the Plus and never receiced an unlock code or any instructions. I have sent 3 e-mails asking for help but have been ignored. Currently filing a claim with paypal.

Install LauncherPro Plus, go to settings and read the instructions.

New update is very buggy on Samsung vibrant, went back to the 1st version of pro for right now. Issues I’m having lags a lot if I try to open apps on home screen. Also the 3d app drawer is very lagging compared to the first version. Overall this is by far the best apparently out there, keep up the good work looking forward to all these new widgets

The Droid X allows for resizing of widgets, can you tell me if you are able to support that feature? It’s the only feature this lacks, otherwise you’ve done an excellent job!

How do I use the lock code option in LauncherPro? Its a shame I have to receive technical support from other users rather than from the developer. Either way I filed a claim with paypal, this really isnt worth all the trouble im going through.

and got my code with no fuss.
Enter the same freaking email that you USED in your paypal account and you will get the code in less than a second! If you don’t remember, just log in to your paypal account and CHECK your registered email address! If you can’t login to PayPal then may the gods save you…
People do not sit and think sometimes, now I understand what fede is going through lol!

It’s nice to see everybody being so happy about the widgets.
Unfortunately, I am not… Widgets are in my opinion optional to a lightweight launcher and as such it should be possible to install them seperately. The install footprint is getting bigger and bigger, so as long as froyo is not really common my available memory is leaking away… How do others feel about this aspect? The launcher is perfect, please don’t spoil it!

Not sure if I’ve messed up my phones preformance settings or something else but seems like early versions (pre-purchase) ran faster on my phone.

The upgrade of the PLUS version is a pain, I have to ask for a unlock code which is obviously emailed to me, but the email app for Android (Gmail) does not allow copy & paste funtions, so it requires a pen & paper to write down the code, and then enter it in manually.
Why is this not done on a querystring to the server?, it would be simple to write so only registered users can fetch updates, better still OTA updates!
Otherwise this app is the best there is !

I by-pass dis launcher for awhile bcuz I was using adw launcher but now I’m loving it everything is great if we had a way to get a transparent background when u bring up yur app draw like adw it would b nice with all Dat said greatjob on launcherpro plus keep up Da gud work.
